THE SOMANA METHOD™
The future of leadership is embodied.
SOMANA™ helps organizations create healthier, more resilient and more connected teams through movement, posture, breath and embodied communication.
‘We cannot create healthy organizations with dysregulated humans’
Today’s workplaces ask people to perform at a high level while spending long hours seated, navigating constant digital communication, managing competing priorities and responding to rising stress. SOMANA™ offers practical, body-based tools that support communication, resilience, focus and sustainable energy in the flow of real work.
Your team is your greatest asset
SOMANA is not “doing yoga at work.” It is learning how the body, nervous system and awareness shape the way people lead, relate and perform.
SOMANA™ adds
In SOMANA™, the body becomes the training ground. Employees and leaders learn practical tools they can use at their desks, in meetings, at home and throughout the workday.
The body is the first workplace.
Before we communicate, our nervous system influences how we listen, respond and connect. Before we solve problems, our posture, breath and energy affect our ability to focus, think clearly and remain present under pressure.
Traditional leadership training teaches
How to communicate.
How to manage teams.
How to set goals.
How to give feedback.
How does your body respond under pressure?
Can you stay grounded during conflict?
Can you regulate stress before reacting?
Can you access creativity and intuition?
Can you stay present and connected?
High performance cannot be sustained through disconnection.
When people are asked to operate at their best while ignoring the body’s signals, the cost often shows up in health, morale and performance.
Every SOMANA™ session integrates four essential elements.
Each experience combines evidence-informed practices with experiential learning to improve individual wellbeing while strengthening team performance.
-
Gentle, functional movement designed to reduce tension, improve mobility and awaken energy especially for employees who spend long hours sitting or working at a desk.
-
Understanding how posture influences confidence, communication, breathing and long‑term physical health. Participants learn practical strategies to improve posture, reduce discomfort and project greater confidence in meetings
-
Simple breathing techniques that regulate the nervous system, improve concentration and reduce stress.
-
Collaborative movement and communication exercises that strengthen trust, active listening and interpersonal awareness, fostering healthier relationships and more cohesive teams.

SOMANA™ Workplace Transformation Program
12-Week Corporate Partnership
Meaningful workplace change does not happen through a single wellness event. It happens through consistent practice, shared language, and tools people can return to in real time. The SOMANA™ Workplace Transformation Program is a 12-week corporate partnership designed to help employees build healthier movement habits, stronger communication skills, greater stress resilience, and a more grounded leadership presence.
Through a progressive learning journey, teams are supported in integrating movement, posture, breath, and embodied communication into the rhythm of the workday. Rather than offering a short-term boost, this program creates the conditions for lasting behavioural change that supports both employee wellbeing and organizational performance.

FAQ
-
Yes. SOMANA is designed specifically to address the patterns underneath burnout and chronic stress, not just their symptoms. By working directly with the nervous system through simple, accessible movement, participants learn how to recognize their stress responses in real time and shift into regulation more quickly. Over time, this builds capacity, reduces exhaustion, and helps people recover a sense of energy and aliveness instead of running on empty.
-
Yes. Somana addresses the root causes of pain and imbalance by focusing on foundational posture, core strength, joint mobility, and neuromuscular awareness. We help you understand how your body compensates and guide you to restore alignment gently and sustainably. Every practice can be modified to suit your body and healing process.

-
Very much so. SOMANA trains leaders to lead from a regulated nervous system instead of from urgency, overwhelm, or reactivity. This looks like clearer boundaries, more grounded presence in difficult conversations, and the ability to hold complexity without collapsing or going into control mode. Leaders who work with their bodies in this way tend to build more trust, psychological safety, and stability for their teams.
-
SOMANA doesn’t push people to “do more”; it helps them use their energy more wisely. When nervous systems are regulated, people can focus better, listen more clearly, and access creative thinking instead of being stuck in fight‑or‑flight. This naturally supports better decision‑making, fewer conflicts, and more effective collaboration—which is where true, sustainable productivity comes from.
-
SOMANA is designed for organizations and can complement existing wellness, HR, coaching, or leadership programs by adding the missing somatic layer. It can be integrated as a stand‑alone series for teams, a targeted leadership offering, or an ongoing practice woven into your culture (for example, monthly sessions, pre‑offsite regulation practices, or team “reset” moments). The focus is always on practicality: tools employees can use right away, in real meetings and day‑to‑day work.
-
Yes. SOMANA is designed to meet you where you are, including postpartum fatigue, interrupted sleep, and low energy. The practices are gentle, adaptable, and focused on nervous system regulation, so you can feel more resourced without needing a “perfect” routine.
